OUR TEAM
Meet our team here at Chief. With extensive skills and experience, each and every member of our team are highly motivated, hard-working and dedicated to providing our customers with thorough, professional and quality products and services. Our growing team and ‘Chief family’ include varying levels of technicians, apprentices, administrative officers and quality and operations managers.
Glen founded Chief Fluid Systems in 2010 with over 35 years of industry experience. He oversees the running and performance of all aspects within Chief. He also manages special projects, research and development for all new and existing customers.
Mandy joined us in 2013. With 27 years of experience in banking, Mandy brings her skills to the role of Head of Administration. She is also responsible for HR within the company.
Joel joined us in 2015. Previously part of the Royal Australian Engineering Corp of the Australian Army, Joel uses his skills and experience to manage the Government and Defence sector of the business.
Lynda joined us in 2018. Lynda applies her 20 years of industry experience to the role of Head of Quality and Operations to ensure our compliance with our quality manual system and ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation.
Chris joined us in 2021. He brings a Cert III in Automotive Engineering and over 20 years of industry experience to the role of Workshop Manager.
Alice joined us in 2021. She oversees the marketing and manages the social media pages for the company. She also assists with the completion of projects and is currently in the 3rd year of her Cert III in Mechanical Engineering.
Zac joined us in 2018. He has completed his Cert III in Mechanical Engineering and is our leading hand on Garden Island, mostly surveying ships for the Royal Australian Navy. Zac works mainly in the defence sector of the Chief team.
Dean joined us in 2021 as a Hose Technician. He came to us with varied experience within the industry and completes work for both our defence and industrial sectors as part of the workshop team.
Matthew joined us in 2021 as a Hose Technician. With a Cert III in Automotive Engineering, Matt completes work for both our defence and industrial sectors as part of the workshop team.
Jon joined us in 2022. With 19 years of experience and a Cert III in Light Vehicle and Auto Electrical, Jon completes work for both our defence and industrial sectors as part of the workshop team.
Brett joined us in 2022 as a Hose Technician. As a certified fitter machinist with 15 years of industry experience, Brett completes work for both our defence and industrial sectors as part of the workshop team.
Nicole joined us in 2022. Nicole applies her 10+ years of administration experience as our Office Assistant.
Bella joined us in 2019. She works part-time, assisting with general office duties.
